I am the Owner, Operator, and Designer of every sticker here at Color Grove! I'm a born and raised Oregonian (with a brief time spent living in Arizona), a lifelong feminist, and a constant advocate for inclusion and human rights. I have a degree in Psychology from the U of O and a long, varied history of working with marginalized populations. 

As a child, I was raised in a Christian church, and even back then, I can vividly recall feeling uncomfortable and out of place. These days, I call myself a "spiritual atheist" and I'm much happier embracing witchy vibes and pagan traditions.

When I was 28, I very suddenly and unexpectedly became a widow, with two sons under two years old. That loss kickstarted a profound change in me, and eventually allowed me to become a much stronger, more resilient, and independent version of myself, without which I never would have started this shop. 

Today, I am a partner to a wonderful, hardworking man and a stepmom to an incredible teenage daughter.  Our little family of five lives in a historic home, in a tiny nowhere town, with way too many plants and animals, and that's exactly how we like it.

You may notice the word "we" around here sometimes, simply because I prefer how it sounds, but in reality, it's just me behind all of this beautiful chaos I call Color Grove. This shop is my passion project, and my way of spreading messages of resistance to all of the injustice surrounding us.
